Once Hopeless, Now I Am Full Of Hope

A nurse in homecare talks about how she was told she was an alcoholic/addict in treatment and had a good life in recovery for nine years. Believing she "knew better," she ceased recovery activities and describes the shame and devastation which was worse than before. Now twelve years clean and sober, she speaks of the supreme gratitude and hope she has.
